Thanks, about the trophys those were the ones too small to mount. Do you do much hunting?

 

Hey Jason, Tripp ( the guy in the pic). he had to sell the FJ40. One of his employees was embezeling(ms) alot of money and he had to sell it to make payroll one week. Anyway he looking for another solid axle yota truck.

 

I am slowly working on the body. I put both fenders and the grill on, the hood is just sitting on the fenders right now. I went to buy some new bolts today, I went to the local hardware store and found some chrome bolts for the windshield, tailgate, and hood hinges..... the bolts were $2.89 each. Thats crazy. I am going to find some stainless, or I will just paint some standard bolts. I am trying to keep up with Jim (bkd) and I think I am losing.My goal is to drive my 6 by Christmas. Keep your fingers crossed.

 

Looking at yours and Jim's (bkd) 6's makes me excited about getting my build going R). My frame, lift kit and axles are due back next week and im off. I'm a FF also in Dallas/Fort worth area. Great job however, if im going to make mine look as nice as yours or bkd Im gonna need a raise or a third job. Is the lift a 3"? It an great looking ride. Im going to blame you for rebuild cost, I already showed the wife where the bar is at. take care and be safe.

 

Tim, thanks for the kind words. I had to get a 3rd and 4th job to support my Jeep and hunting addiction. I hope all of the big expensive stuff is out of the way. I still have alot of small things to do and buy.

To answer your question, yes it is a 3'' lift. It is the Warn Black Diamond lift.
