steering column

    i need help repairing my steering column i took it apart a few months and cant remember how to put it back together i have few spring still out and the blinker switch need to be put back in can anyone help me?

    There is a web site I found like a million years ago... was a corvette forum but it had very good pictures of the whole GM column breakdown and disassembly and assembly instructions. May try google with corvette steering column repair or something like that. I found this;

    I could put it back together for you in about 20-30 minutes...
    to try and type the instructions here....well, it would be like writing a book.
    the release lever arm and spring will go into the housing
    then the housing is placed over the comlumn and bolted into place.
    did you use a fish wire when you removed the turn signal switch ?
    if not, then before you bolt the housing up, slip the harnes back down thu the column; this might take some time as you don't want to pinch the wires.
    once you reach that point, the diagram should help from there.
    you might have to do a net search for a more detailed word by word, step by step, as the other member made mention of
