Moving to Pittsburgh soon, installed the in coolant block heater and waiting for my in cab heater but I realized how will I see without windshield wiper fluid? Am I being crazy or do actually need such extravagance?

    Also consider Rain-Xing your windshield.

I don't end up using the winshield fluid pump very much. But it's one of those things that come in very handy in necessary circumstances.

I used a WW system from a Mazda RX7... reservoir, pump, nozzle, and all. I'll get pics if you want...

used an 80's dodge truck tank/pump and mid 80's GM pickup nozzles. Mounted the tank to the driver's side fender and the nozzles mount on the wiper arm (instead of the cowl). have about $12 (including wire, hoses and wipper juice) in mine.

I've been wanting to do the same Marc. There have been several times I have had to stop and wipe my windshield with a towel to be able to see. I just wish we had a decent salvage yard around.

Anybody know if that JCW kit is any good, or just another waste of $20?

I think I'm going to try using the washer ***'y from the Benzo.

I did a while back. The nozels pretty much are crap. They wouldn't aim
high enough to hit the winshield. So I made some. I'll get a pic when I
get home. I used the plumbing from the kit. I used the existing tank w/
    the pump from the kit.

I was thinking you could take a nylon washer (spacer with a hollow core), cut it at an angle, then put that spacer between the nozzle and hood to get the correct trajectory. I hope that is clear.

Is that kit made by Herm?

  18. Yep. Link is to his new site. Should be going live in a week or two.

When you wire it up cole-hersey sells a switch that turns to operate the wipers and pushes to spray works well to do both with one hand.I don't have the part # on hand but it's in their catalog.
