Hardtop conversion

    :? :JEEP: Is it possible to convert a cj 7 hardtop to fit a cj 5?

    Is this process difficult, if possible

    Any input would be wonderful

    Anything is possable with the right amount of parts money and time. Not easy to do but I'm sure it could be done.

    are you into fabricating this type of thing??

    If so, do you think you would be able to do it and how expensive would it be??

    No I'm not big into working with fiberglass and the doors will take a lot of work to get to work. Your best bet is to find one for a CJ-5 Will be cheaper and better in the long run. I have one but it will not fit anything newer than 1975. I'll keep my eyes open. Got a Jeep buddy at work that may know where one is.

    What year is your cj5. I have a hard top I'm trying to get rid of. It will fit 55-75. If your interested let me know and I'll send you some pics.

    how much you looking to get for that top, I have a 68 and I have been looking for a top. Anyone have one let me know. I am located in long island new york. thanks,

    Misty, keep yer eyes open locally - check any local jeep clubs pages... Also keep yer eye on ebay; tops pop up with some regularity there for decent prices if you don't need to ship.
