Thought some of you might like seeing some pics of the CDN M101, the Canadian version of the US M416.

Familiar squared-off fenders similar to the M416 except that for the vertical legs on each side.

Extra reinforcement wrapped around each corner in the form of 1/8" (approx.) steel plate.

    One of six internal tie-downs.

Heavy duty grab handles on each corner, tube steel reinforcement along bottom front, etc.

Heavy duty springs, shocks and 3000# axle.

Underside of trailer. All trailers were coated underside and inside hollow top rails with Ziebart.

Bulky spring perches. Why they needed to be this heavy is beyond me.

The M101 CDN list has a great sheet in the files section that compares all the Jeep trailer models and differences in it pretty well also.

Yes, I should've mentioned the Yahoo group. The administrator there has put a lot of time and effort in making it a valuable resource. My goal was just to offer some quick content to the new trailer section. Thanks for including it in this forum.

Similar comments were made on the Yahoo group about Early CJ5.COM.

What yahoo group? I purposely didn't say anything on the M101 list because I don't want them to feel like I'm trying to take away from their membership.

I'm just trying to add to what our members here can use as a resource.

We are not competing sites with dedicated zones/regions...the WWW is ours to share for free! I don't consider it taking away from membership base, but rather increased sharing of info and interests. Folks determine their own interests, if that's the M101cdn group, than great! Besides I just put a link back to this site ;) Feel free to post the info on the group.

Just tried to set it up for M101CDN specific tech info, but anything 1/4 ton related is welcome; other site links or posts, mods etc.

    Regards,
    Wally

    Hey Wally!

I didn't want to step on any toes so I didn't say anything on your list.

    Glad you're here though! :D

Not everyone likes an e-mail list, not everyone likes a forum. Some of us use both...
