Anyone wired up a parking brake warning light - Brake on? I have the under dash hand pull park brake. If so what switch did you use and can you send pics?

Yes! I have forgotten to release a time or two...

I'm getting the speed hut speedometer and it has a "Brake" light on the speedo so I thought I'd use it.

E brake warning lights are wired the same way as dome lights.
You will have power going from the ignition side of the key through the light to an interrupter switch mounted on the hand brake assembly. You will have to build a bracket that with the brake off, opens the switch. When the lever is pulled, the switch closes, completing the circuit and turning the light on. I would use a dome light door switch. Any FLAPS should have a selection.

Not a parking brake light, but same concept. My transmission did not come with a reverse light switch, so here’s what I made. 16AFDECC-F259-4B88-BA4D-54A1D4131170.jpeg

Yes you can easily fix a switch on the axle, with alight. I suggest, as I did for my late father, to add a sound signal corrected to this light with, protect it with a fuse if necessary.
My father had some difficulties, in old age, to drive, and a good sound was useful as a reminder.
I suggest some devices which you can put behind your seat :

now it will take some fabrication skills
but I would think . you could rig something to work off the alignment pin/rivet on handle shaft
