Truck Stuck, Winch?

I have seen in Russia 4wd videos, they put chains in the mud and grass. Yes it destroys the place.

 

How about a couple loads of crushed stone, make the access easier next time?

 

get a good snatch block, and use it properly, and you'll be able to pull the truck out.

 

Better load a big log across the winch cable during winching to keep it from hitting you or the jeep

 

I am not a pro, but I have winched quite a bit. This is what I'd do:

1. Anchor your jeep
2. Chock your jeep
3. engine running
4. Hood up.
5. You with your winch controller OUTSIDE your jeep, but guarded from winch cable snap path, with radio.
6. another experienced driver in truck with 2-way radio for comms, ready to hit the brakes if needed and to apply a bit of gas/steering as needed.
7. winch cable connected to winch extensions with rated connectors (they have soft shackle connectors and synthetic rope extensions on Amazon that you can get)
8. Be OK with taking a break and letting winch cool down - should be well within the winches capacity to pull that truck. You could also put a pulley on and double your winches capacity? (side effect is that you have to re-rig sooner)

 

Good advice all above. Video it. I'm surprised a 4wd truck can't make it up the hill. What about something as simple as a change of wheels/tire with a different truck with some good tires?

Were it me, I'd pull it out with the winch.

 

With someone in the truck, with it in drive and low range, and the jeep pulling you will have no problem getting it out.

Now if the truck is dead weight, you're going to have a harder time, but a snatch block attached to the truck doing a double pull, and the winch line anchored to the tree on the left the m8000 should be plenty powerful to do the job.
