Help Identifying Koenig Ml8? With Pics

    Hi folks,
    I've tried searching the web for details about this Koenig winch. It is just similar to Model 100. Data plate states something like Model ML 8, 8000lb.
    Any thoughts? Could it be for Land Rover instead of CJs?

    It is a universal style mechanical Koenig (not part of a Jeep upfit package). Same basic winch as the King 100. That one is the 8000# Low-Mount. RKI still manufactures it today and you can get all the spare parts straight from them.

    You just need to buy a suitable PTO for the transfer case for the land rover. Find a rover forum and ask what model , type PTO (power take off) gearbox did they bolt to their transfer case
