Hi Guys, Just got a new heater core from Rockauto.com. Chose the APDI 9010111. The tubes are too close to each other and therefore do not fit in the heater box and will not go trough the firewall. This does not fit and intermediate with 5.0L. I am removing a Transpro 399202 but this brand is hard to find up here.

Is the Spectra Premium 94563 a PERFECT fit for this vehicle before I re-order?

    Thanks

I ordered a NAPA 6603098/94563 today. I can get measurements for you when I get it. Ron

The Spectra was money. That's what was recommended by my local radiator shop so I installed it last year on my 75. Of course the 74 is blown now. I'll be doing another spectra. If I recall the best price was through Amazon.

Pretty sure I bought a Spectra for my CJ-6 a decade ago? Fit fine. Sorry that I don't have better or more current info.

Finally solved this misterious Issue. The Omix ADA 17901-01 is also 1 7/8'' C/C (Which also does not fit. I finally got a TSM 399202 (or Spectra 94563) and the center to center distance is.... 2 3/8''. Finally got the good heater core. Took me 4 orders to get it. Where did you find it? I tried to buy another spectra for my 74 this time and everywhere I looked it was discontinued. I ended up with an aluminum one from quadratec with the tubes too close. I gently bent them out, it works but....

Which hose goes to which outlet? Does the straight one go to the pump or manifold?
