I am up in NY, my 60 cj5 was shipped from California 10 years or so ago, found it in a barn....really. It is unrestored and was set up similiar to those jeeps. I watched your video to see if just maybe it was in there somewhere. At about 40 seconds left in the video a jeep hits the water with windshield down, no rollbar and a tow bar on the front. Maybe.

Cool Video. That is a time capsule and a great memory.

    Love those early vintage CJ's.

Very cool to watch. Takes us back to a simpler time, with folks out there just having a good time.

    Thank you for posting!

There's not much that's better than a Jeep camp out and trail ride! I think it's impressive where mostly stock Jeeps were capable of going. I especially enjoyed the mustard colored Jeep with all of their gear tied to the roof. And many of those Jeeps had really nice paint jobs. Now many of those same Jeeps have "patina." I know mine do. Thanks for sharing.

I’m going to say that those guys were out of Reno as the plates were all “W” based Washoe, Nevada blue plates.

    Pretty cool.

  14. I have about 15 or so videos to cut edit and add photos too. So, a lot more coming. It’s just too cool to keep to my self. Figured YouTube and Instagram were the best formats to share it all
