Or rather a set of them. I am trying to find these piece circled here. Cj6 Upright supports I guess is what they are.

    Thank you.

Are you asking about the lower windshield hinge? If so, they are available from many of the Willys suppliers, ebay, or place a WTB (want to buy) ad here in the CJ5 classified section.

It's a CJ-6-specific part, so it's likely not available aftermarket as itself. Looking at the parts book, it appears quite different from the "wheelhouse angle support." According to my books, Jeep never supplied these parts separately, instead they were both part of the body side panel. It does not have a name as an individual part.

Kinda think your best route would be to remove and repair the part you have, or fab a replacement. I can post some better pictures if it will help.

I dont have them on mine. It's a glass tub and I wanted to find them and bond them on to stiffen up the wall. I can fab something if needed. I'm just at the point on the project if I can find something that is reasonably priced I'd rather do that and spend the effort on other more pressing things.

I'd make a wood form, and lay in some mat and resin. Not sure how to make it release - some research would be needed. Certainly doable.

Is the area noticeably flimsy or feeling like it needs more support? There is also the possibility of making it too rigid by reinforcing it which could lead to cracking.

It's a little flimsy. It needs something there.

Maybe as Tim suggested fiberglassing in a support? Combination of the formed support with a wood insert?

Might if I cannot find a curved channel like that. Sure would be easier to find something I could just panel bond on.

I used the evercoat panel bond on the aftermarket replacement for the passenger underseat tool box. It worked out great didnt take long.

The second one above I found in CE's CJ6 section. As always, they have top grade parts.
