I have located 5 other Early Cj5's all painted Beryl Green body and windshields. All of these are 3 digit serial numbers. Mine is number 180 orginal Beryl Green paint. Does anyone have any information on the Bery Green painted windshield frames?

I thought all windshield frames were black then?

That is what I'm trying to figure out. It's very strange.

This has been discussed here before, more than once, including as a reply to your previous post. Wheel Well Color

Nothing really to figure out. No surprise that the earliest examples are body color. At some point they became black and continued black through 1973.

The earliest sales material from Jeep shows body colored windshields, and you mention in your other post that you found other early CJ-5 examples with body-colored windshield frames. From what I've seen in the world and read here, I believe these earliest examples, and CJs from 1974 on, are the only exceptions to the black frame rule.

or if they are all in your general vicinity they could be from a fleet.

    Any info on these?

A former member here C.J. Wilson had sn 1181 IIRC, it was the darker green colour with black frame & floor panels.
