Motor Mount Mod.

    After flopping my Jeep on it side again. I noticed that the steering binds on the u-joint from the rubber mount. I then found that the rubber mount sides over to cause this.( Driver side.) I now plan on modifying the motor mount so that it won't happen again. Here's some pictures of my mounts.

    New Idea. Angle mount motor mounts instead of horizontal mounting. That way the motor will always be centered. Hopefully it will be an easy mod.

    It's all there. Uses four bolts to hold it to front of the Chevy Bock. Three of the four you can see. I'm still working on it. The garage is to hot.

    I finished up today. This should keep the motor centered even on flopping.

    Nice job. Not the most fun quarters to work in without pulling the motor.
