Brake Line Question

I recently installed Rancho 2 1/2 inch springs on the 70 CJ5. More like 2 inch springs and 3/4 inch higher shackles. My front brake lines are about maxed out, just by lifting the front off the ground. I used to just buy longer front brake lines from a different model vehicle that where about 4 inches longer, but can't find my notes on which model vehicle that was. Going online does not seem to help with longer rubber brake lines. Does anyone have a part number for longer rubber brake lines for a 70 CJ-5 with aprox. 3 inch lift ?? Its a Dana 27 with Z or S lines on the wheel cylinders. Thanks in advanced.

Willing... I'm using factory lines on my '75 with BDS lift and Mike's longer shackles. Look long enough to me, and I have not pulled one apart. I expect that the factory shock length will be the limiting factor, not the brake lines.

As I suspected, Inline Tube will make brake lines to any length you specify.

well I would like to answer . but I don't remember if I did or didn't change them
this is one of those examples , where the guy behind the counter had a book with all the hoses and dimensions
pictures were worth a thousand words . sadly a time gone by

Have you searched online for brake hoses? Maybe someone has a preferred vendor they could mention?

When I swapped to 11" fronts on my 70cj5, I used the 72 rubber lines which were longer than the short 70cj5 rubber lines that also have the hard s-tube connection into the wheel cylinder. Guess I would go that route - but before I swapped brakes, I didn't have any issue running the original brake lines with a 2-3 lift and long shackles.

    Are they 3/8 fittings?

....If they're 3/8 ends on the hose try a 74 F250 front brake hose with drums. Hose is listed as 17" long.

Thanks guys, that's what I'm talking about. I'm going to check on all these possibilities. timgr I did buy rancho shock that extended aprox three inches longer and install new bump stops so they won't bottom. When it was hanging from the frame with wheels off the ground, the stock shocks where holding up the axles at full extension, when removed, the axles dropped almost two more inches. I know I'd be happy with two more inches.
