Making A New Door Panel For An Fc-150

Thought I'd show how I made door panels. I use regular copy paper to create a template. Way easier than trying to do it with one big sheet. Lay out as many as you can on the straight edges and use the side of a pencil to mark the radius and poke a hole where the screws and pins go. I cut the paper 1/4" undersize. I took the panel to the upholsterer that did the seats and he covered it with the same material. I also used this template method to make floor mats and trim for around the inside of the roof.

 

Cabinet shop also did the arm rests for me. I got the black plastic push pins off of ebay. $7 for 50 delivered.
