Exhaust Leak Help Needed

    What did I miss? The OP has not shown a picture of a pipe, as far as I can see. One of the later posts shows a picture of a flared pipe used with the donut gasket, but that's not the OP's pipe.

    I cut the exhaust pipe to get it apart.
    The down pipe flange was compromised so I reassembled with exhaust putty both sides of the gasket. If that doesn't work I'll buy a new down pipe.
