    Greetings fellow Jeepers!
Anyone have an idea on what these extra bump-stops are? There are bump-stops right over the axle on the frame in another location, so i don't see the need for these.
Stock springs shown in the photo, but I will be installing Skyjacker 2-2.5" lift soon and id like to know if i can remove these.
    Thanks in advance,
    Jason.

Thats the same bump-stop setup on my ‘73. I would just double check that nothing will touch under compression of the suspension before taking those out.

My understanding is they change the angle of the front driveshaft at full compression, preventing it from hitting the starter. They all have them, and are there for a purpose. If it's a V8, you should also have spacers under the right front bump stop, which stops the front axle housing from hitting the oil pump cover. Don't remove those either.
