In answer to your original question I hauled a 600 pound rock a few hundred miles once.

Yes sir, I'll post up what happens. Hopefully an uneventful boring trip with no mechanical failures

That's pretty cool. Rear suspension handled it no problem?

I once had to move a large granite fencepost, so I strapped it to the front bumper.

Cured the Death Wobble, but sure made steering interesting.... I'm not sure the rear wheels were even touching the road.

Was squatted pretty good did fifty miles out of the woods and the rest on the road you want to plan ahead for stopping.

Went to a farm auction and must have flinched which resulted in me bringing a 2 bottom John Deere plow home.

I'd likely opt for a trailer, but if you secure it really well and drive extra careful, good chance you'll be fine.

If the outcome is guaranteed, it's not really an adventure (y)

My 62 was a purpose built snowblower so I had an auxiliary engine in the bed to power the blower via a drive shaft that hung on the left side. I guess it was 6 or 7 hundred pounds. It had a lot of extra spring leaves. Picture is not mine, but like it 65withsnowblower03.jpg

Awesome! I saw one like that in a warehouse in Jersey many years ago. The one I saw had like a Porsche V-4 engine or something?

I posted on here pics of me towing a 6000# Case skid steer on my two axle equipment trailer. Yes, I had very good trailer brakes and F150 discs all around. Does this count for a heavy load?
