I got at least two fo these off a parts '62 CJ-5. I think they're Ford wheels. They are 15x5.5 and have 3 hubcap nubs and the center bore is 4.125". I can't find any manufacturers marking on them. The front side has been painted white, and the back is black.

Have the center holes been enlarged? Kinda looks like it in your picture. Most stock ford wheels have the smaller center hole that won't fit over a Jeep front hub.

If i am not mistaken, ih scouts have wheels with the same openings, and will fit a jeep

The centers look like the have a small roll in them still. Anyone know how much metal there should be between the lug holes and center bore on a bored out ford wheel?

I’ll look into IH wheels too

They look just like the Ford wheels that I have (somewhere) although I think mine are 7" wide.
Mine have had the centers cut out to fit over locking hubs, but you must check the bolt holes for cracks going from the bolt holes to the enlarged center hole. Cool looking wheels though if you're a fan of the old school look, second only to the Kelsey Hayes, IMHO.:)

I just picked up ford wheels, and they do have ford stamped on them, I enlargrd the holes for the from two to fit over the hubs. I can snap a pic when I get home.

Those wheels are either enlarged or factory to fit over the hub. Can’t tell from the pic. My ford had a lot more meat around the holes before I enlarged them.

I‘m certain they‘re Ford wheels. Where did you find the Ford stamp?

I can take another pic. These have a very small rolled edge still at the hub. They may have been enlarged. They‘ve defintley been repainted on the outside.

I read that whole thread. It was very informative. I also did research on Scout wheels and they seem to be the same or very similar to jeep wheels

The only marking I could find was a B on the back of the raised areas next to the lug holes

I call them Ford wheels. But I have no proof...
Finding early Jeep wheels is getting harder and shipping is a killer...
