I know a guy that has one, it looks good and he loves it. That said, he also has a cap on the truck.

I like the look of the bedrug, but I'm skeptical about it staying clean, and also a bit worried about water getting under it and promoting rust. I have a tonneau cover on my truck and it still weeps water into the bed, no matter what

My Spray in liner, Vortex brand, has faded a bit over time, mainly just not glossy anymore. That said, it lives in a garage, so I imagine if it was in the sun all the time, it would've faded much more. My impressions of Herculiner have left me not happy. I've used it, but it seems to never be thick enough, no matter how many coats, and it just disappears from the sun.

I also am a fan of the Bed Rug although I have not yet received mine , but have seen several in service on other vehicles and these owners all love them. My New Chevy came with a factory spray in liner........which is a much finer textured variety as compared to most of the aftermarket versions that look more like a heavy stucco........But since I'm also putting a Leer Camper shell on my truck the Bed Rug looks to be a great option........

That’s great I think the bed rug is soft on the knees. We are getting a diamondback tonneau cover soon for that truck but the bed rug is holding up well to winter and snow. Right now there is 360 lbs of sand in tubes in there and they don’t move around at all on the bedrug.

Nice. I got my Leer in K-Falls. $800+ cheaper than most folks from Redding to Yuba City. Well worth the drive (and I was on the way to Montana anyway...). Double check that their 'dongle' (pig-tail-T) to wire it is correct for your new rig. Too many computers in my F250. I had to wire it myself according to Ford's body-builder specs vs. their $80 pig-tail T plug-in (CHMSL used the aux trailer brake feed, a pass-thru in the firewall, and a lot of wire to the rear, I ran fused power from the battery back to the rear also in the same loom as the CHMSL wire).

    Best of luck.

    On regular topic matters:

I'm using the $100 rubber mat for fords (cut a little here / there to make it fit) that I picked up at Tractor Supply.

Dang new fangled aluminum bed has a 'gaposis' at the edge of the bed / sidewall. I'll be using some silicone caulk to seal it up a little. Seems that the pressurized mist from the tires likes to get vacuumed through the cracks at the rear near the tail gate... best I can tell anyway.

A buddy that builds/services modern Jeeps just sprayed a customer's Wrangler inside and out with Raptor by U-Pol. It is tintable with automotive base coat or single-stage. Though not a fan of liner on the exterior, it didn't turn out too bad, bright red and all. Its textured, but layed down with a bit of gloss. I poked and scratched at a few "test" panels I shot between refills. Another friend used this liner a few months ago on the cockpit area of his boat, with a light blue color. It gets used hard, and his only complaint so far is it gets dirty from feet/shoes and has to be scrubbed clean.
I'll be looking at using this stuff later on. I like how you can exactly match the liner to the rest of the paint.

just be ware that you don't get the "rubberized" bedliner. they aren't real clear on the DIY section bottles. the rubberized ones peel up and scratch every time you load stuff into your truck by pushing or pulling. yeah, i know first hand...

I just seen a new truck with a factory spray in bed liner, it was real thick, and looked like it would really work well. My 16 Ford came with drop in liner, it is OK, but my Truck is more of a car with a box on it. I fold the back seat up and put three storage boxes, with carpet cut to fit in the tops, in the back seat area for my dog to run around on. I keep all my tools and straps, extra clothes, inverter, and emergency equipment in the dry. I found a senior shower seat at a garage sale for $5.00, and carry it in the box to step up on and get in the box, the new trucks are higher and I am getting shorter every day.
