:cool:I probably sounded like a real purist in a prevous post on keeping it stock. That is easy when you have a '69 with 11" brakes,Hedman Header, saginaw steering ,lift kit ,33" tires, etc. parked next to the 1971 renegade II survivor.:flag:

I’ve been getting my ‘66 back to mostly original. Hard to find some parts though (original seats, etc) It’s a weekend driver only, and no real off road driving.

I'm slowly getting my 69 as close to stock as possible. I got her mostly original and have replaced broken parts with a modern equivalent if I couldn't find an original. Seats are getting redone now. Then I want a top.

My 1964 CJ5A looks close to stock, but has unseen up grades, like 10" X2" brakes and 3:73 gears, Black paint, and Ansen 15" X 7" slot wheels. I like not having a Roll bar, but I only use it for Forest Viewing and slow cruising on two lane roads. I like the look with the windshield down, and my dog does not have to stick her head out the window.
