T90A Bearing Snap Ring

    rebuilding a t90a. The bearing that is on the mainshaft, sets into the transfercase. Do you use the snap ring on that bearing? The instructions said something about using the ring on some transmissions. The main shaft bearing didn't easet into transfercase with the ring on it. So am I correct in assuming I don't use that ring?

    The T90 Mainshaft uses a 644551 same as Fafnir 307 K.
    The rear mainshaft bearing simply does not have nor need any ring groove.
