Are you talking a regular soft top or like the rag top sliders in the hard top?

The model A is what I had in mind when you said rag top but wasn't sure if that's what you meant

Got the driveline parts all gathered.
1988 ford 302 with 63k miles on it. Keeping the efi and converting it to MAF. Got a set of gt40p heads and explorer intake, MAF, throttle body, 24# injectors, roller cam swap with a B cam.
1995 f150 aode will be getting a rebuild and shift kit.
Have a set of wagoneer dana 44s and was debating a dana 300 t case with adapter but found a killer deal on a 1978 ford np205 and hp d44 front. So I will be chopping the d44 to wagoneer length but high pinion drivers drop. Rear wagoneer d44 will remain whole but I'm looking at free floating it using front spindles to keep as many spare parts the same as I can. Disc brakes on all 4 corners.
Likely drive flanges in the rear, warn hubs up front.
205 will get a twin stick cable shifter set and the aode console shifter will get set in a console with the cable shifters for the 205

Picked up the ford np205 and 1978 high pinion dana 44 front axle.

Now to combine the wagoneer and f150 dana 44s to create a drivers drop, high pinion, narrow track front axle.

This build is going to be put on hold almost indefinitely. Hate to do it but life gets in the way with my kids growing up and wife going back to work and work picking up.

I still definitely want to build it but for now, I'm just going to be doing the basic common upgrades to make my old girl more of a topless ice cream cruiser for the time being.

This should also give me more needed experience before diving off the deep end like this was originally planned.

I'll be waiting and watching this. Sounds very cool.Yep, family and life come first. Have to remember this is just a hobby for most of us.

Got a free Dana 60 from a f250 rear axle and a roller cam 351w short block for $100 this week. Eventually I will get there
