I torqued down everything after putting the new headgasket in ......

But I forgot to put the crossover tube over the studs before putting the nuts on.

Can I just undo those two nuts and put the tube on and retorque without any problems? Or loosen them all and have back at it? I have not run the motor yet if that makes a differences.

    Thanks

I've loosened off individual (or two head bolts) at a time & no problems after re-torquing them.

Correct. As long as no pressure, is applied to the heads, loosing studs a couple at a time isn't going to hurt a thing.
