Turned a propane bottle into a portable air tank. Works great at seating those popped beads :D

Best tools are the ones that are shown in-use. Thank you.

I don’t have enough veteran status to know how or where a yoke holding tool is used, for example.

Made a pulley holder for daughter's timing belt project...It's crude, but not bad for 10 minutes of design and fab work.

Also needed a special tool for the tensioner pulley. A couple of punches and vise grips did the trick just fine.

The punches and vise grip are how I used to adjust the tensioner on my VWs. Awesome!

I needed a shrinking disc. I couldn’t see paying $60 for a simple disc of stainless steel.

    Wolfe's Easy Shrinking Disc Kits

I went to a thrift store and grabbed a stainless pot for $4 and made my own.

BINGO! Handiest thing in the tool box when installing a freshly built engine. It's basically insurance before you start up.

Now that we have a winner... What are the components that make it up?

I had a spare HEI distributor out of a 1976 Buick century laying around that was not repairable due to a crack in the aluminum housing, it would get moisture in it and you know the rest of the story. Anyways, I cut the top part off with the chop saw pulled the shaft out cut another inch off and voila, Priming tool made for your power drill.
