Ok, I got the EZ wire 21 circuit system.

The connections that they have pre-installed, what type of ignition switch does it match? Or do I just have to pull the wires out and install in the old connection?

    Thanks in advance.

Well - none of my EZ-Wire kits were pre-terminated. Mine were always 'I cut to length and terminated' setups... you must have sprung for the 'extra fancy' setup :)

I say pick what you want and adapt it.

Many of those type of harness kits are wired for gm switches..Google is your friend there is tons of write ups telling you where each connector goes. If that fails they should have a technical service line you can call.

Thankfully, one can download Painless instructions, since EZ Wire's suck and their tech support is lacking.

I would hopes since its twice the price and then some.

My Ez wasn't terminated but did come with the GM plug to wire in. Not needed, just use cut it loose and hook up what you need.

Yes, twice the price, but for a noob like me, probably should have gone that way. At least the Painless instructions are a free download. Got a little bit done today, still waiting on my light switch, but did get most of the wires in the engine compartment run, how I want them.

Wow!!! I had no issues with my EZ wire harnesses. The PO had purchased the kit but had not installed it. A couple of wires were hooked up and the rest were lying on the driver side floorboard. I have GM tilt steering in my CJ and it was fairly intuitive how to hook it up. Sorry to hear you are having problems with it. The instructions are, as you say, a free download. If you have them you should be able to follow them and get it done in good time. I dressed my wires and then ran them in the split plastic flex tubing, using 1/2", 3/4" and 1" to accommodate the different number of wires in the wiring bundle as it increased in size coming through the firewall. Good luck and if you have any questions I can help with, let me know.
