Roll Bar placement

Is this the factory one or one you had made? I'd also like to see the outside of the fender where it looks to also be attached to the angle iron. As soon as I get back from vacation, this is the first June project.

 

factory/dealer made. I replaced the fender wells with plate steel and reinforced the inside of well. The fire extinguisher is not mounted for road travel as this is not a daily driver

 

totally off topic.. what color is your jeep? did you paint it?

 

I just have two quick questions...

1- Is the front hoop is straight up and not at an angle?
2- Is maximum height of the front hoop matches the windshield height?

I'll have to get one build and for my early CJ - I like this design best (my personal preference mind you)

The paint was originally intended for the rebuild of a C-47, but problems dictated otherwise. The color is aircraft olive drab. No idea of the availability.

 

The angle iron base is 24" long. the width from angle iron top edge to top edge is 54" it is 34 1/2" high from the top of the fender.
