It is an LJ w/ a CJ front clip and a custom made safari style hardtop.

Despite the title saying Acme, it contains a lot of various CJ-5 hardtop info. In fact it is the largest collection I've seen on the web.

If not, can you post a link the thread you're referring to?

Any pics of these ones aside from the advertisements? Would be real curious to see them, as I've never heard of them before.

Agreed, this LJ was tastefully executed IMO. The steel wheels and custom top gives it a Scrambler look.

I believe we are talking about two different, but similiar looking Jeeps and tops. First photo is the CJ8/Scrambler of post #5, 7 & 8 ---second and third photos the LJ

Great call. Despite both having a NY front license plate centered on the bumper, there are multiple differences.
