I like it ! All of the above plus the hellcat engine as an option!!

  6. Well then, I hope the people in charge of production check this forum regularly for these fantastic needs/options that will certainly HAVE to be available for the final product!

I'm sure you will all jump at the chance to own this wondrous $32,000-$34,000 truck. Since the Wrangler runs around $26,000-$30,000 that would be a fair starting price for this unit.
I know I certainly will not be buying this thing for the price they'll ask.
I can't justify the price of a used 97-2000 Wrangler let alone a new one.

In 20 years when we find one abandoned in someones field it better be worth fixing up

  9. I hear you - I'm definitely one who would never buy a new vehicle. If I can't fix up a vehicle to make use of it, I'm lost.:)

  10. Well, I see the announcement was made that over a billion dollars is going into Toledo's Jeep plant to produce the new Wrangler AND Wrangler Pickup, so this old thread's article was predicting the future. I know once they are out on the road, I'll want to check out a Wrangler Pickup. A customer here at the shop says he saw one on the highway when he was traveling near Toledo a few weeks back. I asked him what color it was. He said "like a desert tan", all over, no stripes or different color flares. I came back to here to check this thread and found the link was still good, so I showed him and he said right away "there it is right there. That's what I saw on the highway".(y)

Boy if they do several engine options, I can see a really good seller coming onto the market for Chrysler.:)

I certainly hope it will sell. Time will tell if anyone actually will actually throw out that much money for something that isnt really a truck and only seats 2 people.

I do know this… Whatever they produce I won't be able to afford it.

The Wrangler that I drive every day sold new for $13K.

They would be stupid to sell it in that configuration, after 1 year it would essentially be salesproof. I'll bet it will be a crew cab with a hilariously short bed.

I"d need it to seat two people and have a bed. A truck. I"d like it but not at $30K plus.

I know everyone wants big hemi power or diesel but I'd like to see a lg displacement turbocharged 4 cyl. gas.

From what I'm hearing the 3.0 diesel will not be returning. Was told theres a stop sell order on them right now

  17. Well, the above statement seems to be the case. Saw a "Brute" at the Auto Show this weekend. Was NOT in the Jeep section, was in the front of the Chrysler section. The prototype pickup was made by a Montana Company. It was baby poop tan, has a separate bed, 4 doors, convertible roof, 37" tires, snorkle, winch, water tank bumper and a whole lotta other crap on it, but it DID have a 6.4L Hemi in it. The truck was locked. I never understood having autos at an auto show where you can't get in some of the vehicles and this Jeep was one of them. The price sheet stated that this truck can be built for you in the range of $64K to $143K, depending on how you want it equipped. The Jeep Brute as demonstrated was $127 and gets 17 MPG. I do not own a cell phone and didn't feel like dragging my camera with me, so no pics. The price tag would have cracked the lens anyway.

Just saw a thing on msn.com that said late 2019. The article has pictures the show 4 doors and a bed that is slightly longer than square.
