Throwout bearing question

OK guys, I got a question for the gurus.

I'm working on a swap job for a customer, putting in a 2006 Chevy 4.3 V6 mated to an SM465, going into a '62 Willys. We are using a stock cast aluminum Chevy truck bellhousing of unknown vintage, it fits the 4.3L block and also fits the SM465 front bearing retainer without modification.

We just ordered the Novak hydraulic clutch kit, and we are trying to find out the correct GM throwout bearing to use with this. The Novak clutch kit comes with the stamped GM release arm so it should take one of the GM throwout bearings, but which length? We already put a LUK clutch on the flywheel of the 4.3 V6.

Get the Novak adjustable threaded throwout bearing collar for the candlestick OD size you need...........Hopefully they make one.....I have one here but I believe it is for the T-18 sized candlestick.

Yep, get the adjustable. I used one a few weeks ago on an AX15 swap. Very nice.

When I did my sm465 there were 4 or 5 different lengths? of throwout bearings that fit. I ended up using the longest one. If you like I can try to find the p/n when I get home tomorrow night.

FWIW, I used Novak's hydraulic clutch setup and their adjustable throw out bearing. Very nice stuff. Very easy to install.
