Not to put you on front street as the sign in the background indicates, but nice work.

    This was my original Damage.

I tried to fix it, but the damage was to much. This was the best I could do. The fender needed to be replaced.

    This is the new fender.

WOW!! I agree. I wouldn't have broken down and got a new one, I would have kept the old fender and a picture of the damage just for bragging rights. I am shocked you got it back into any kind of shape that resembled the original fender. That was some expert hammer and dolly work!!

He started with smashed up fender, and with some samurai hammer skills, he is left with a straight fender and tennis elbow, lol.

If you read the thread, he replaced the fender. I do have a friend that has beat his beat his fenders back into shape on his CJ5. Not a skill I have.

I understand he ultimately just got a new fender. I was commenting on his attempt to repair the original… amazing work!

I have to give him an "A" for effort. He just about got it right. A body shop would not have even attempted it.

That happens frequently around here... Big fenders and big trees sometimes mix. Jeep looks good Scott.

Thanks! Can you believe it's been 10 years since I painted the Jeep last time. And to think it all started with this.
