Does anyone out there know were someone might find early style windshield hinges? I am redoing a '54 M38-A1 and cannot find replacements for my rusted out originals.

    Uppers or lowers?

I have a junk w/s frame with upper hinges that are salvageable.

I had some lowers from my old 5 tub until a few weeks ago...

The lowers are salvageable, but the uppers are toast.

Got a pic of the mil hinges? I'm pretty sure they're the same as the CJ's but want to make sure.

    If they'll work, how's $25 + shipping sound?

there are OEM "style" new hinges out there -- give me a minute to find out where. These will be all nice and smooth.

OK, this is taking longer than I thought -- give me a day or two to remember....

i remember turner telling me they were out about two years ago but the manufacturer couldn't get the angle right... if they're back out on the market you can find a link to a new set up uppers and lowers i'd be interested. even though i really don't need them.

and yes, boyink, they are the same hinges for the early cj5's. removable uppers that go into the frame.
