I converted the oil bath air filter to run a paper filter, sourced for a '78 Dodge Omni. I'm not going to argue about why I shouldn't have done this..;)

It's done, been driving it. New sender and gauge as well. I have a few pics I could post I guess, but there's not much to see.:)
    Just a new gas tank.

The Jeep had an externally regulated alternator when I got it, and I had pieced together a 1-wire 10SI out of parts I had and installed it. It crapped yesterday, so today I put a new 10SI on it and went ahead and wired it in a regular 3-wire configuration. I've put something around 1700 miles on the Jeep so far since I bought it.

Did you get a gas cap from MTS? If so, are you having any problems with it sealing?

I did, and it was junk. It didn't have the spring washer under the gasket and the locking tabs I could bend with my fingers.
I went to napa and bought a cap, put a neoprene gasket in it, and it seals.

I've done a few things....Cable operated heater control valve, new spare tire/ wheel, more carb work, support brackets inside the rear fender well for the tire carrier, back up/ tractor lights, oil pan gasket, new crank pulley, new hood welting, new poly fuel tank/ new lines, new fuel pump, straightened the trailer hitch/ draw bar, a little body straightening here and there, etc., etc. I don't have any pics but I'll get some. I continue to drive it virtually every day. I've put about 2500 miles on it..

Those amber colored off road lights look so cool on that jeep.

Do the shackle mounts double as a tow bar mount?

Mind posting some close up pics? I'd love to make some like that myself.
