no, its only that the government don't want that we modify our cars, to get a modern engine streetlegal would be more nightmare.
my luck was that the cj6 came from factory with v8.........I had plans years ago to put a lt1 in my jeep.......holy....the guy who make the paperwork
gave me a offer over 3500€ only for the lt1in my title

here it cost around 300-500$ to run 31" streetlegal on a cj.
no spoilers, lowering or lifting without paying.
