doors

    finally got around to making the hard doors to go with the hard top. all the metal fab is done now just gotta finish em and figure out some windows...[​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]

    test fit ,looks like its gonna fit, with a rubber in there it lines up nicely

    Is the top bent? The picture makes it look like it is going up as if it is bent of the windshield is too tall. Good fab work i like the doors.

    What did you start with? CJ7 or wrangler doors? I have the same top with no doors.

    cj 7 doors to start with. the tops i think will be modified half door tops. the top was a cj 7 part i sliced up to make fit, the 7 has more meat between the inner fender and the top rail than a 5.had to make up the difference in the front to avoid odd looking rear quarter glass,(woulda been taller than wide) took about 4 inches of length in the quarter glass and sliced down the middle of the front half(in the roof) and widened the front 3 inches or so in a pie shape,and added two or so along the gutters to fit the width and curve of the intermediate window frame vs the flatish line of a 7 therefore the slope in the roof line...both ways.[​IMG]

    Thanks. Well I guess I don't have the same top. Doors for the intermediate Acme tops are practically non-existant. This looks like it might be a good solution. Well done!

    thanks. i always liked those acme tops haven't found one ...yet
