    Hiya,

I have an opportunity to trade a member here my small yoke V6 fron DS for a big yoker that'll work with my D30. Problem is on the DS he has the end-cap/retainer oil seal deal is rusted/blown out. Are these available anywhere?

    Thanks!

    Bob

Bob - I'm not sure I know which part you're talking about...

The little piece that "sweeps" the grease off the splines when the DS extends and collapses? Looks like a ring with teeth on it to fit inside the splines?

That's OK Tim, I'm not sure I know what I'm talking about

I've attached a pic. Basically whatever keeps the grease in and keeps the shaft from falling apart when it is disconnected is shot.

I can just call around - but wanted to know what I was asking for.

    Thanks guys -

  5. Bob, You might try giving Drivetrain specialties in El Cajon a call. They made my rear driveshaft after MIT said my original was shot.
