My current 1967 jeep is set up with a d18 t-case without a parking brake attached to the output flange.
If I install a stock drum parking brake from a donor d18, will it change the length of my rear driveshaft?

    Thanks

I'm thinking "no". But I'd have to look at mine to see for sure. If it did change it, it wouldn't be much.

    No too..

  4. if I remember right from when I did mine the drum only takes up about 1/4 inch which I would think the stock shaft would compensate for that and it wouldn't be a problem

The drum mounts on the back side of the flanged yoke so no length change applies here.

Be aware, however, that the flanged yoke will be needed and replaces the standard yoke used on non ebrake 18's.
