Thanks for the heads up on this Posi. I took care of that bubbled area yesterday. Never done body work like that before and I think it turned out decent. I'll post pics in a bit

Started body work yesterday. Didn't get as far as I wanted because I found a lovely rust patch that I had to repair. First time doing any sort of repair like that and I think it turned out decent. I don't care about it being perfect as this is just a hunting/minor trail rig.

Now I need to just do a light coat of bondo on that area to smooth it out and the passenger side will be ready for primer.

It's actually kinda fun once you get into it. I started off trying to do as little as possible but after awhile I saw the light and went for it. Now that it's done I'm glad I did.

It was kinda fun. Glad I got the experience doing it in case I need to do it again, I will feel much more prepared.

And DEFINITELY glad I did it now instead of leaving it alone

Yeah I definitely felt like it was a big piece of work done even if it was a 6"x12" section lol

Got my 5 mostly primed yesterday

Still have some problem areas I need to smooth out but at least it's one step closer to being painted

Also ordered a new wiring harness from ezwiring I can't wait to get that in and be running again. Going to order a full gasket set for the engine and go through that while I've for this thing partially torn down

Wiring Harness is supposed to be here Monday. Picking up a spare tire tomorrow so I can start my rear stinger build. Going to Vegas this weekend so I probably won't get much done over the next few days. Going to order a lower gasket set for the engine this week so it will be here next week. Next weekend I plan on replacing gaskets, cleaning up some motor parts and wiring up the entire thing to get it running again. Then it's on to finishing all of the body work and get it ready for paint. I'm on vacation next week so I should be able to get a good amount done

Tore down the front end in preparation for replacing some of the gaskets on the engine. Also should make it easier to prep and paint the fenders, hood and grille

I also started on my wheel well notch. It needs to be cleaned up a lot but it's a good start. The sheet metal is so damn thin so I tacked on a 1"wide backing plate to help fill the seam. Not finished yet either

Finished my wheel well notch. Doesn't look like much right now but with some grinding and when I lay down bed coating in the tub it should look a lot better. Tons more room

Got the front of the engine torn down further and also got the passenger side wheel well notch 80% complete.

If I have time to work on it tomorrow I'll be finishing up the body work then prepping for bed coating

Finished my wheel well notch on the passenger side. Only went 2" back on this side. Probably should have went 3" but that's okay. Still tons more room

I'll try and finish the rest up this weekend. Then it's prepping the tub for bed liner!

Didn't get much done this weekend but got a little done

Finished welding my rear floor then laid down some bondo smooth out some areas

    Mid process
    [IMG]

Stripped the front half of the floor. Now I just need to get down to a paintable surface
    [IMG]

Got my hood stripped and ready for paint
    [IMG]

Won't be doing much this week because I'm going out of town this weekend but I'm hoping to finish my engine work and strip the firewall and paint it. Then finish prepping the tub for bed liner and hopefully get that laid down shortly after. It should a lot more complete by the end of the month
