Wheel restoration?

Last year (or some time when I happened to be home) I scored a set of these for $80.. Well the pic is not mine but the same ones.. With center caps intact!!!




My question is regarding restoring them.. I want to use them with a new set of 235/75-15 BF Goodrich rugged terrains on my new (to me) XJ.. They are in good shape but the clear coat is a bit beat up and I'd like to get them to like new condition and last..

Not having any experience with restoring aluminum wheels (cheaply) I'm looking for input.. Media blast and paint? Powder coat? What kind of media? What kind of paint? Just looking for past experiences and outcomes!

I had a set done about 10 years ago on my Durango after messing them up. I used a shop that specializes in that practice.

 

I have a set of those wheels, but alas no center caps... or at least a close facsimile, close but not the same

 

I went through this with some aftermarket aluminum wheels a while ago. I used aircraft paint remover to remove the clearcoat then polished them. I'm thinking in this case with the rough cast part have them glass beaded as it's finer than sandblasting to remove the oxidation from the rough cast, then polish the smooth areas. Then clearcoat.
