And also with bad math. They just divided the initial power by the final power. At 56% power increase would only be 49 hp.

    Should be 61.0 - 31.6 = a 26.4 hp increase. That is 25.4/31.6*100 = 84% increase in power. It's almost double!

But the figures that really stick out there are those 1000 rpm numbers, forced induction or not. And then there is this "Their arguments are good; lower initial costs, lower upkeep, and considerably less maintenance." Maybe lower initial costs but then you will be replacing or rebuilding that engine a lot more frequently and I never got more than 65-75K miles out of one stock before they became useful for mosquito abatement.

I wonder how long that was on the market, if they were indeed ever on the market. I have never seen one. More porcine lipstick.

I think thats one of the cooler things for an Fhead. ..

Or maybe get a leaf blower and use it to supercharge it!! Wasn't there a episode about that somewhere... Maybe even get a rechargeable leaf blower and you could have a hybrid green vehicle!!!! All those teslas better watch out then!

Eventually I'll dig out my old f-134 and turbo...
Rebuild the motor and all, but I need a pair of Subaru heads for it.

But with the kit, you could abate 84% more mosquitoes!

So, my question is, WHO has one of these today? Wouldn't it be amazing to find one at a swap meet, or in a barn-find survivor? The holy grail.

That's some expensive stuff for 1964. About $3600 today for that blower kit.
I love how they have a little inset ad for 11" brakes. You'll probably want those with your 84% horsepower increase.

Great listing for all of Chuchua’s “hop -up” goodies for our Jeeps. One of my Wagons has his T10 4spd adapters.
I’m still wondering why they didn’t go beyond 3500 rpm on the dyno. I know I broke my crankshaft at a little over 4000rpm.
If they would have ground an appropriate camshaft, I’m sure they would have had a noticeable bump in horsepower.
I’ve heard stories of these bolt-on superchargers, but never actually seen one on a Jeep. I have seen the Judson’s on old VW bugs though.

If I can get my Delorean to crank up and the flux capacitor working again think I will go back to 1964 and order a dozen of everything listed.

All seriousness aside, those prices are not as cheap as they sound to us in this time frame. A coke in 1964 was a dime or less at a drug store counter, how much does one cost now?

Yes, Yes, ... it was a 6 1/2 ounce returnable bottle, and a silver dime too! Today that silver dime has a melt value of about $1.35, but I'm thinking most folks would want a little more than a mere $1.35 !! ... I would
