I like the springs under the axle. There are arched springs that you can purchase to get a higher lift if you want.

Aftermarket wheel there. Can fit 4wd ford, internaional, or jeep. Your local tire store should be able to help
Welcome from northeast georgia. Agree the shocks may be to blame. The angle the shocks are may contribute some too.
Went with the rv cam in my 304. It made a big difference espcially below 2000 rpm
