    Hello guys,

If any of you can help me out. I am trying to figure out the location of the original wiper water reservoir tank location. If any of you have this installed can you provide me with some pictures? I would also like to know where does the water hose run through to get to the spray knob.:?

    Thanks!

It was a bag, on the driver side under the heater box. I'd take a pic, but I sold my '71 about 5 hours ago...

This looks great, but... do you guys know where I can find that TRICO bag? I just have an original AMC plastic reservoir (also would like to find out where it is installed).

    Thanks for the info,

The hard plastic reservoir was used starting in '73 IIRC. There's likely not room next to the fender for the reservoir, with the short fenders on a '71.

Google "wiper washer bag" and you'll get lots of hits. Most that I found were labeled "Ford" and were for Mustangs, but you should be able to find a suitable replacement.

I saw this one on ebay

    http://compare.ebay.com/like/150516...fa9e032&itemid=150516013142&ff4=263602_304662

What do you guys think... I believe if I'm looking for an original restore it should be a bag right?

    Thanks,

Fine, but I saw a black one for a Ford for $19 in my quick Google search.

The name is likely silk-screened on, so you might be able to remove it.

The original was a rubberized bag with a metal bracket for mounting to the drivers fender. The pump is a manual unit that monts through the dash. You pull it out and when released it pumps the fluid from the bag. I have one in the garage right now I can probably get pics tomorrow

A little hint for anybody that has headers, don't place the bag in the original locations, they won't last long there.
    Ask not how I know:)
