Knuckle Leak

    Thanks Karl, I'll dress up the ball with emory cloth. I've got some left over permatex that I'll use on the bolts. We've got the straight 140 wt in town so I think I'll just use it.

    I filled mine up with 85w and so far no leaks. But then again I haven't driven the jeep yet. Should be fine though

    I filled mine with gear oil (80 90) and it didn't leak until I had drove it about 15 miles. I hope your story works out better!

    We'll see... I also have new inner axle seals and new knuckle seals. I hope that with those seals replaced, the oil stays in.
