Yeah I think if I grind down that lip it will give me another 1/8 inch or so.

I just went out and looked at mine and I have a good 3/4 of an inch between that plug and the firewall. It is a 62 with a 134

Thank you for the information. That tells me that my tub may need to go back another 1/8 inch or so. Doing so makes the rear body mounts line up with the rear cross member but throws the front mounts off. That was the source of my confusion -- which body mounts do I go by?

    Thanks.

The first time I lined up my tub holes with the frame holes I started with the hole on the D/S floor pan. I had a hard time getting the other bolt holes lined up at all and it made the tub sit on the frame in a non-parallel manner. When I started with a different hole I got everything to line up EXCEPT the hole in the D/S floor pan. I ended up drilling a second hole in that "wing" on the frame just behind the original hole in order to get it bolted down.

Funny, I think I am in the exact same boat! If I start in the rear, I can get the holes to line up except for the DS floor pan. I'm thinking about welding that frame hole closed and then drilling a new one.
