Picked up my rims from the powder coater today. What a search. 1 rim from Fort Collins Colorado, 2 rims from Denver Colorado, had one rim as a spare, and 1 rim from Pueblo Colorado.

Had them all sand blasted and powder coated.....

Cool. I've got a set of 5 but they won't clear my swapped disk brakes. :(

Actually seeing your post just reminded me that I have a set of unused 2" wheel spacers in the garage that I pulled off the Scrambler when I bought it. Sure enough, went out and tried one on the CJ5 and they make just enough clearance for the stock steelies to clear the caliper! Back in bidness, baby! 4" wider overall track width is something I can live with, puts it about the same width as stock CJ7/8 widetrack axles. Should still keep the tires under the fenders. Out of curiosity, what did blasting and powdercoating cost you?

1 Rim from Fort Collins: $ 20.00 ( had to buy 3 rims, two were not original)
    1 Rim from Pueblo: $ 20.00
    2 Rims from Denver: $ 16.00
1 Rim from spare: $ FREE

    Total Rim Cost: $ 56.00

Sold 2 bad rims from Ft Collins for $20.00 on craigslist

    Total Rim Cost: $ 36.00

    Sand Blasting: $50.00
    Powder Coat: $ 150.00

So all in all: $236.00 or $47.20 each.

I dont count the time or gas to Ft. Collins or Denver, as I was already there for other business. Add in gas for the one in pueblo.

I know where thare are 2 or more of them. I may be in that general vicinity in a week or so, do you want me to grab one of them? They are in a junk yard, and they charge 8 bucks for them.

Those are the rims I have a set of 5 of. Mine are original to a 73 J-4000 pickup, which my dad has owned since 78 and it came with them and the original hubcaps. I believe pre-74 full-sized Jeeps (they went to 6-lug in 74) all used that same style wheel, as did Jeepster Commandos and CJ's.
