Warloch Did you say Flattie??? Staff Member

Mine only used the gravity to keep pressure in the lines. I have not seen one (at least in the ones I have taken apart) that would be anything like what I have seen in an inline residual valve (pulled from distro blocks).

I could be wrong - you could also look at using a proportioning valve - I have one on the shelf - didn't need to install it on the current rig.

I would put the Wilwood RPV in the front line and see what happens, it made a HUGE difference in my pedal.

I've heard conflicting reports about the OEM MC, some say it has a 10# RPV internally and others say it doesn't. If your discs aren't dragging when you let off the pedal, there probably isn't one in there and the 2# RPV will help with your pedal height/feel.

so from what you are saying the stock MC may not even have a RPV? if that is the case I must have missed it, and it could very well be my problem. the rotors sure dont drag like i have read in other post.

If there isn't an RPV in the output port of the original MC (I've never heard of one) then it will have to be internal if there is one. If it is internal, you have to disassemble the MC to get to it.

You don't have any dragging of brakes so it's pretty unlikely that there is a RPV in the system at all.
