    Hey Everyone,
Were there any jeeps postal or otherwise that had 10'inch brakes?
I'm sure my brakes are 10" (they are self adjusting) but I never see anything about 10 inch brakes.
    thanks

I don't know the details, but yeah, there were 10" brakes for a few years I believe. I have a complete set of four that I bought from a guy, we thought they were 11" until I got 'em home and measured them. I think they're off a '70-'71 Jeepster. Only gave $50, some day I'll be a-sellin' 'em.

Are 10" brakes desirable at all? Seems like I've read of some issues with them. Like I said, I've got a set to peddle someday (if I ever dig 'em out) and I'd like for somebody to be able to use 'em.

My 10" brakes work just fine. They'll lock up the 33's at any speed I want, and it stops straight.

better than 9s, not as good as 11s. worth something to someone who is in need of the parts for their 10s.

Some of the parts are hard to find or unavailable so they are good to someone keeping their stock type vehicle running. As said, better than 9's but not as good as 11's or discs.
