Nope......It didn't work. I needed a gear in the transfer case.

I just use my tach......besides it doesn't go fast enough to speed....

Why didn't you just put a gear in it?

not the best pic ,all I had right now, military dust boot switches ,a GT wood steering wheel off a junked boat we found in the desert ,a B-25 gyro ,there IS 1 gauge,- oil pressure hidden behind the shifter/hand throttle ,volt gauge is on the way , no speedo (what for ???) and there is a stick to check the fuel (why have a gauge for that ) [IMG]

I never found one for 4:88's and with over sized tires it would be wrong anyways.....I am planning on getting a simple GPS unit. I do run my garmin etrex from time to time......

I put a programmable speedo in... Just push buttons, drive 2 miles, vola, insta right speedo. I can swap tire size reprogram and go... Really like it :)

I meant the quick release gauge panel.

It sure would make it easier to work on ...

I guess I need to find a GPS speedo, since my new TCase doesnt even have a drive for one.

Oh well, nice work on the wiring though.

I was going to poish my Alumnum Gauge clusters, but as it it when the sun hits my Grant Wheel I get a nasty glare, I couldnt imagine having that much glare reflected back at you. Although its real clean and I do like it.

    Alot of great ideas here-

here's mine. Sorry for the fuzzyness, I cropped this heavily...

The gauges are voltage, vacuum, amps, oil pressure, and the larger one in the center is a 6,000 RPM boat tach. (the engine was running in the pic :) )

Find out the ohm range for the stock sender and find a guage that matchs the range. I don't remember what the Jeep sender ohm range is. I actually used a GM sender in an aftermarket fuel cell with a matching guage.
