tranny mnts?//////

    howdy,every time i give the old beast gas, the stick goes forward approx 2 in,then back when i let it off.i'm thinkin tranny mnt/engine mnts?
    anyone ever have this prob?

    Broken engine mounts tend to allow the trans shift lever to move side-ways. The up and down (forward/backward ) motion is more attributed to x-member and rear mounts.
