Thanks, Greg. I bought the Jeep out of Colorado Springs about a year and a half ago. Do you remember seeing it around the area?

Dont think so, but I have lived in fort collins for about a year and a half now..

And Springs is a lot of area to cover. What area of town did you pick it up from?

Nice looking work! Since everyone's talking about stealing ideas... here's how I did it on a friend's CJ7.....

Manitou Springs, I think. Nice area. I did notice lots of Jeeps parked around. :)

Nice work. I thought about building mine from round tubing, since I have a bender, but in the end decided box tubing was easier.

BTW, I trail tested mine for the first time today and it held up well. Except for the part about the leaky gasket on the old gas can, which lost at least a gallon or so before I noticed. I hate it when that happens.

Time to begin the search for a new gasket. Not that many shops stock them anymore.

Ahh, dont get down to Manitou very often.

Do you have the military style "jerry cans"? if you find a place that stocks seals let me know, I could use some as well.

I might know of one place in town that has them but I haven't taken the time to look online. I'll let you know if I find any.
